The Times-Herald purchased the 10-year-old Newnan-Coweta Magazine in February, 2005. You will find its pages packed with features, information and advertising of interest to Newnan and Coweta County residents. We don't believe you'll find a more localized magazine about Coweta people, places and things on the market today.

Newnan-Coweta Magazine is published the first Friday of every other month. About 7,800 home delivery subscribers to the newspaper receive the magazine inside their newspaper. Plus, about 5,000 magazines are distributed to other homes, the Chamber of Commerce, the Welcome Center, businesses, financial institutions, restaurants and advertisers.

We do not place the magazine inside newspapers sold at news racks and in stores in the county. We purchased Newnan-Coweta Magazine because we thought it was a logical extension of our daily newspaper. The Times-Herald's mission is to be the number one source of local news, information and advertising about the people, places and things in Coweta County. Our mission for the magazine will be much the same. The content will be very local. Each issue, you will find information and advertising that is about Coweta County or impacts Coweta Countians.

Longtime Times-Herald Close-Up Editor Angela Webster is editor of Newnan-Coweta Magazine. Deberah Williams is art director. Our advertising sales staff, directed by Colleen Mitchell and Lamar Truitt, handle advertising sales for the newspaper and the magazine. Members of our news and photo staffs, plus freelance writers in our community, are contributing to the magazine.
